LABIOMISTA: A Living Artwork
Wild Gene Festival could only begin at LABIOMISTA, “the mix of life,”
Set within a 24-hectare park in Genk, Belgium, this extraordinary evolving work of art —created by Koen Vanmechelen in collaboration with the city — is a living expression of life’s diversity.
More than a location, LABIOMISTA is a meeting ground for all forms of life at the crossroads of nature, culture, and community. A place that invites curiosity, challenges assumptions, and sparks new ways of thinking.
It is the perfect ground for a new energy to take root — where Wild Gene begins its journey as a celebration, a collaboration, and a call to connection.
